We construct our cabinetry with several types of durable, high-performance hinges that will operate smoothly and silently for years. Periodically, you should tighten hinge screws, because they can loosen over time with normal use. If a drawer front looks crooked, first measure the drawer front at each end to see if the height is the same. If not, slightly push the adjustment tab on the lower side towards the back of the drawer.
To move a drawer front forward or back, you can rotate the tilt adjustment dial on the rear of each drawer to tilt the top of the drawer front forward. Rotate counterclockwise to raise back of drawer. Again, first measure the drawer front at each end to see if the height is the same. If not, remove cover plate on the inside of the metal drawer box. Inside will be two screws, one for up and down adjustment, and the other for adjusting the drawer front right to left.
We construct our cabinetry using several types of self-adjusting drawer suspension systems. The drawer function and, in some cases, the options chosen by the purchaser determine the runner type used. We equip sidemount runners with self-adjusting rear mounting clips. If roll-out trays rub or bind, remove the tray and check the position of the screws in the runner, as well as in the cabinet.
You may need to retighten these screws to eliminate any interference or chafing. The ball-bearing-action undermount suspension system is galvanized. This precision runner also has self-adjusting rearmounting clips. One additional adjustment is possible with this system. To raise the drawer, simply move the orange lever on the front retainer clips back until the drawer is at the proper position. This is located on the underside of the drawer.
To lower the drawer, move the gray levers forward until achieving the appropriate position. With more than intelligent, attractive options, you're sure to find everything you need — and a place for everything you have. After installation, you may need to make a few final adjustments. Whether used to highlight collectibles or to illuminate a countertop, our low-voltage lighting is an excellent and economical lighting source. To replace a bulb, make sure you turn it off and allow the bulb to cool completely.
Remove the plastic lens ring by turning it slightly and pulling downward. Firmly grasp the miniature xenon bulb and pull it from the base in a horizontal motion. You put your Drawer Front on your Cabinet Drawer, and screw it in place. The trick is getting the Drawer Front exactly where you want it and then having it stay put until you can get your screws into it. I use carpet tape. Found in the carpeting isle of any home improvement store.
Carpet tape is super strong double sided adhesive. I put a strip of tape at the top and bottom of the front of my drawer, line it up and then press it on. I use pan head screws and put one in each corner. Top and bottom to equal 4 screws even though this picture only shows one screw in the top corner.
How Do You Remove Kraftmaid Drawers?
You could add washers if the wood is soft and the screws sink. The problem with this method is that you can not easily make minor adjustments to the drawer front. My OCD will never let me leave the tape, so I just use a little bit of tape, then clamp, then screw, then take it all apart and remove the tape. Yes I leave the tape in place. Question for you: How far into the wood front you do need to go to have a strong attachment?
Thanks Sandra…. I was thinking about making pocket holes, and how to figure out how long of a screw is needed. Drill oversize holes in the drawer and use these screws with oversize heads. Use appropriate length screws to avoid problems. Your email address will not be published. Yes, add me to your mailing list.

I have just realized that when he assembled the drawer he attached the hardware to the front plate with screws and then he glued the front panel to the drawer box.
Cabinet Doors & Drawer Fronts
I do not have access to the screws to remove the hardware. I need to remove the handle to strip the drawer front and I also want to put new hardware on. This will protect the screw head better from damage due to your drilling. If he did a good job gluing, then the best idea I can come up with would be to drill holes. On the inside of the drawer, try your best to line up with the where the screws should be holding the handles on. An easy way to do that is to measure the distance on the drill bit and put a piece of masking tape so when the tape reaches the wood stop.
If you measured right, the screw head should be there and you might need a little knife to clean up the hole. With any luck there won't be glue in the screw heads otherwise you might need a small sharp tool to clean them out as well. If you are not interested in saving the handle, you can use a Dremel or other small cutoff tool to cut the handle in half then unscrew it from the mounting screws.
Once you know the exact location of the screws, you can drill through from the other side as suggested by Bowlturner and remove the screw. There is one other option, that I suggest as a last resort, and should not be done by someone who has limited experience: use a bandsaw table to cut the drawer face off the drawer. You would have to adjust the table of the bandsaw to cut the face off trying to follow the glue line between the drawer and the face. Also, trying to feed this through the bandsaw too fast will be dangerous.
The blade can also walk the blade moves away from where you want it to be while cutting. Did this on a marine drawer Start at the corners and keep rotating around, this will keep the pieces from splintering or cracking.
Then replace the hardware and re-glue. If you want to keep the clean appearance try sanding both faces first with an orbital sander, and just apply Gorilla glue at the top seam and the corners. Don't mess with the glue till hard and then use a chisel to clean up the excess.
